Hi Guys, Default options are generally stored in ".ini" files. I'm going to be looking into this in the near future, to determine exactly where these ".ini" files are and how to associate them with their apps. I would like to make this a global change across all applications. If this cannot be done I want to make the change in Internet Explorer version 7 and Microsoft Office Outlook version 2007. Thank you for your help. What I am wanting to do is change the default setting for the temporary action. So I will not have to go into the verbosity dialog box near as often as I do now. I would rather have the setting default to something that I use more often than something that I never use. I'm sorry I confused. For anything temporary go to the Verbosity setting in Jaws. This can be done by pressing the incert key on the number pad and the v key at the same time. Then you can arrow up or down for your different options. As I explain in my first message this can be changed by pressing the spacebar. When you have more than one option it's required to keep pressing the spacebar to change from one to another option. I hope this will help. I would appreciate it if you can tell me where to find the default option in the configuration manager I cannot find it in the configuration manager. So therefore I'm posting here instead of on a more general jaws list sense as I understand it I'm going to have to open a file in a text editor and find the setting and change it. I'm not sure which file this setting is located in and I was hoping someone could lend me a hand. If you need to make this change permitently you will need to go into your configuration manager. I would appreciate it if someone can show me how to change the default setting for the reading of table headers that can be set temporarily in the adjust jaws options dialog box. I want to change the default option from table titles announced marked headers to table titles announced both row and column headers. Sorry to take up your time with this.
