It's because Jaws can't focus on the header bar, i.e., the application
does not permit the pc cursor to do that. I think you'll find that if
u use the jaws cursor on the proper window when u go into the assign
window class utility, it will assign the class correctly. If not, it's
just an ini-style file, I believe, so it can be modified.

Hi!
From time to time when using the JAWS cursor (i.e., mouse) on a control and
then going to Windows Class Reassign for that control, the control type
spoken by the JAWS cursor is different from the control type that appears
in
the unknown windows class (really control type) of the Windows Class
Reassign utility. For example, when I am on a "HeaderBar" with the JAWS
cursor and in fact JAWS speaks "HeaderBar", when I then go into the Windows
Class Reassign utility the unknown windows class that appears in that field
is "ListView." What do you do in this situation?
Thanks,
Richard
