As far as I've seen in the FSDN jaws scripting does not have general purpose file I/O. It does have I/O for ini files. For the most part I would say that not having general purpose file I/O is a good thing from a security standpoint. You could embed an echo command directly into your script I suppose rather than putting it in a batch file. Or embed the batch file into your script and write it out as part of the AutoStartEvent.
