Look up StringContains in the Script Manager or the FSDN, and for case
insensitive searching, StringLower.

Do you mean the Java Access Bridge API from the Windows side?  If so, I'm a=
fraid there is no direct access to that from a JAWS script except via the N=
av* functions in the language.  That API is not COM-based like MSAA, so we =
can't get at methods and properties and structures etc. directly from a JAW=
S script.  You could if you were to write a DLL to COM-wrap the interface I=
 suppose.
