mostafa, You have the parentheses in the wrong place, twice. The script should read: Script TypesMyname () SayString ("JAWS for windows is ready") EndScript And of course, that script will only speak the string. If you really want to type the string, for instance into Notepad, you need: Script TypesMyname () TypeString ("JAWS for windows is ready") EndScript hth Martin ----- Original Message ----- From: "mostafa almahdy" <mostafa.almahdy@xxxxxxxxx> To: "jawsscripts" <jawsscripts@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, September 12, 2009 10:16 PM Subject: [jawsscripts] "Compile error" > Hey folks: > I'm sorry, I' know that I' use to ask about this many times ago, > Please forgive me. > This certain script has contain unexpected word which I' Could not > define, I'm sure about the required quotations and marks, Here it's > text: > > ;Script File for notepad, Version X, windows XP > ;JAWS version 10.0.1154 > > > > > > ; ;Script TypesMyname; > (SayString) "JAWS for windows is ready" EndScript > > > as you can see, that is quite basic one which almost has been dun. > I'm sorry, I' know that's strange for each other. > any suggest or recommend, that's tremendously would be appreciated!!!!. > Mostafa Muhammad taric almahdy. > Egyptian Citizen. > skype account: > my_speaker > > > -- > Best Regard > It's always hope that gives meaning to life > __________ > Visit and contribute to The JAWS Script Repository http://jawsscripts.com > > View the list's information and change your settings at > //www.freelists.org/list/jawsscripts > -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- No virus found in this incoming message.
