Hi Francis, Given the circumstances, and making sure that you include your JAWS Serial Number, I would recommend that you send an explanatory message to Sight and Sound. [mailto:Support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] They will at least be able to annotate their records accordingly, and perhaps may even be able to have your count reset. Personally speaking, I tend to agree that replacement of a CD writer is perhaps "over the top", compared to a change of CPU or hard drive, but Freedom Scientific are not alone by any means here. However, reporting such problems does help to draw a developer's attention to such problems, and may even prompt them to look at removing this restriction in the future.
