Hi Wendy,
sorry about this, I've had to take some time off work due to a family
problem.
To give you an update, we are planning the following:
1) A link at the top of each page on the site for those using
screenreaders which disables the AJAX ( hopefully fixing your problem!)
2) A full site review from a company called AbilityNet which will test
the site against all major screen readers (and different versions of the
same)
Hopefully this will give us a much better idea!

Things seem to have gone quiet on this problem, so I have just checked
the
site again. Pages are still loading far more slowly than any other site

use, and adding items to basket still takes a long time to achieve. I
