Ok, just as a postscript, I dug out jfw 7.1 and the file reads perfectly in English... Jfw 9 reads the first and last line in English, but the rest is a drunken frenchman full of bbordeaux -----Original Message----- From: jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Robin Clayden Sent: 13 February 2008 15:53 To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [jaws-uk] Turning french? Hi, Very weird, I opened up a basic word file with names and phone numbers, and suddenly half a dozen lines sent jfw into fluent french.... I have no idea how this happened, and I can't replicate it in an e mail message. I cut and pasted the section into a fresh blank word doc and it still reads in french.... Anyone like to receive a small attachment off list and see if this does the same for you? And, of course, anyone got any explanation? XP Pro, Jaws 9 pro, Office 2002.
