Dorothy When you pressed F9, did it tell you there were files to download and did y= ou press enter/click on 'Update'? After you have pressed F4 to start a scan it starts listing out the files i= t has scanned and displayes the result of the scan at the end. I do know for certain the sent items list should never be wiped out. once you have sent an Email even years down the line it is shown. On my other computer which is the on which hard-drive failed I had all mails I had ever sent including those brought over from a former Futjitsu. as I said if I went to the end it showed the year 2000 and that was the batch during a battery failure which can never be re-dated, you may guess only by looking at the content and remembering the time in my case I had just moved from Tiscali to Freeserve. I am not sure why this has happened the worst bit is when the become invisible or concealed and they come in hit the page and just vanish, but they are hidden. I was told once that OE is free, I asked how come free. Answer is Outlook is the one you pay for the other is " thrown in!. I know Kurzweil use Eudora but I am not sure what it is? I imagine it for a business situation? My cousin goes on about " giving OE the elbow. but he is sighted and clever he uses Webmail and I do not think a VIP can? he also uses. Firefox or something like that not Opera anyway. He says Firefox doesn't get attacked by nasties. Hangon Mosella I think. If so many of us on this list use Outlook aftexpress why is that? Is it because we are told it is simple? Maybe we are all daft tobelieve it. dorothx Ps what stops me arrowing down has happened again I did whatever you said. but it should not do it. someone said Outlook express thinks it in a restore situation? Was that Maggie moore. y ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=3Dunsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=3Dfaq] ** or send a message, to=20 ** jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq This e-mail has come from Experian, winner of the UK's 'Business of the Yea= r' 2003 and 2005. =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D Information in this e-mail and any attachments are confidential, and may no= t be copied or used by anyone other than the addressee, nor disclosed to an= y third party without our permission.
