Send an email to jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the words "set vacation" in
the subject line without the quotes. When you wish to receive messages from
the group once again simply send a message to jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
with the words "unset vacation" in the subject line without the quotes. This
way, you choose how long to wait before you start receiving messages again.

Recently I went away for three weeks and wished to suspend mail. I sent a
message to jaws-uk-request with "vacation" in the subject line. I got an
autoreply saying that my mail would resume in two weeks' time, which indeed it
did, so I got a week's worth of unwanted messages when I returned home. Anyone
know why the vacation thing doesn't last until you unset it?
