Hello Ken, from Jaws verbosity (insert v) you can switch language detection on
and off. I am not aware of any quick way of toggling generalise dialect though.

  All,

Thanks for the feedback, and well done, the solution works a treat.

I get the impression that this is a fault of originators that is so common
that FS have built in a fix for Jaws users. This is good of FS, but it allows
source providers to get away with shoddy practice ... and so to my point.

I would like to know when the document language options are not set properly,
so I can (respectfully) draw it to people's attention and help them improve the
quality of their documents. So, can I make the switch between language
detection on and off "on the fly"?

Having done it several times this morning, as I get used to the process, I
accept it is not a difficult task, but a hot key might be nice if there is one.

  Many thanks,

  Ken
