Hi Barbara, Assuming that you are using Doug Lee's scripts revision 653 and Skype version 3.8, You should be able to do the following: Press JawsKey+whatever number on the top row places you in the history tab. Use your cursor keys to select the chat you wish to review and press enter. This will open a new chat window. Now, you should be able to use alt+number keys on the top row to read the chat entries where the most recent entry is alt+1. Remember to close the chat window and revert to the contacts tab using control+1 when you have finished in order to save yourself confusion later. When I am in a Skype chat rather than a voice conversation, I am having difficulty in reading the message log and wondered if anyone else was having similar problems. When I tab to the message history view, JAWS will announce the time and date of the first message and read that message, but that's all. If I try to use the cursors to read up and down the window, nothing is spoken. To read the messages I have to use the JAWS cursor, but of course theis doesn't read everything and often with all the other things it reads only a few lines of messages is in view and usually the first few lines. Any tips? Thanks.
