If you want to read text in another language then the way it is read depends on settings in Jaws and not Word or Outlook Express.
If you want to read text in a different language with the correct pronunciation for that language in Wordpress Insert + v and arrow down to Languages, press the space bar until you hear "on", then tab to close and press enter. Jaws should now detect the language of the text the cursor is in and speak it with the appropriate pronunciation - there's probably a similar setting in Outlook Express although I don't use it. An alternative way is to press control + windows key + l which will bring a list of about eight languages Jaws will read in - just move to the language you want and press enter. If you change the language Jaws speaks in it will speak both the text and the menu items in that language even though they may actually be in English.

Word also has the facility to add/chenge or remove keyboard short cuts
for a wide range of different actions.If anyone's interested I would be happy to provide more detailed instructions.

insewrt w gives the most comonly used shortcuts but not a complete list.
Insert h will also give you the most common jaws specific shortcuts.
There are ways of getting more complete lists if you need them. Press inser and hold it down. press f1 twice and let them both go. This will
bring up detailed JAWS help.
you will be on the Microsoft Word topic in a tree view.
Press f6 to take you to the pane containing the information for Microsoft Word. There is a JAWS commands link and a "helpful hints" link which may be of use.
Using this help page is like using a web page but f6 takes you from the information pane to the contents list.
There is also a command for getting all word keyboard shortcuts if you
25/11/2005require this but it takes a few steps and warrants a separate email. I will need to give it a dry run to make sure I get all the instructions right.
