Hi Steve,

open up your jaws window
alt u for utilities
press c for configuration manager
alt s for set options
press h for html options.
press control tab until you get to the misc tab,
tab through here until you get to a checkbox `indicate element
attributes' checkbox checked.
hit space bar to uncheck it
tab to ok,
alt F4 and say yes to save your changes.

Job done,

Cheers, Robin.

        Hi,

I am using Jaws 5.0 with windows ME.

On certain html pages Jaws is fond of announcing that I am on
either what it calls clickable links or on mouse over links.

So far I have not found how to perminantly turn this unwanted
information off.

If you have any suggestions please could you let me know.

        Thanks in advance.

        Steve
