[jaws-uk] JAWS 8, IE7 and Edit Fields

Hi List.
Can anyone explain to me why I need to update the page, with this
combination, before I can read what I've entered into an edit field?
For example, if I enter a search query in Google, using version 8 with IE7,
I need to do an insert escape before I can check what's in the field.
