Hi I've found out how to store the changes to the Braille marking options that weren't being saved in the way I'd expect. what I did. Note: in the path given below the words user name should be replaced with the name of the windows account that you're logging into. 1. open notepad and press control+O and copy and paste the following, making sure that you copy it all as it runs to a couple of lines: Oh! and after you've pasted it into notepad, remember to change the words user name for the windows user account name. c:\documents and settings\user name\application data\freedom scientific\jaws\6.0\settings\enu\internet explorer 5-6.jcf about 9 lines from the bottom of the file, you'll find a line that says: BrailleShowMarking=72 delete the 72 from the end and replace it with a 0 press control+S to save the file and then close notepad. This should do the trick. The above instructions are for the file that affects internet explorer and my computer, which was the file that was bothering me. The instructions above may not be appropriate for other files so be careful, please!
