Hi Wilson,
You may want to try something I've successfully used in the past called "Free
Screen Video Recorder". This application is designed by Videosoft and is
completely free and accessible with JAWS.
I also found that I could still use the JAWS commands to navigate and perform
different tasks on my machine whilst recording. This program however will not
record audio from the computer so if you also want the voice of JAWS to be
included in your video, this wouldn't work for you.

I haven't been religiously consistent when testing these screen recorders.
Some of them I started JAWS before the recorder and some after but the result
was always the same.
Nevertheless, what you say is valid and I will go back and retest them in the
manner you suggest.
