Barbara, No real idea but it almost sounds a bit like there's a key getting stuck down and, therefore, activating what appear to be random commands. It might be worth trying a few careful experiments with a known keystroke. You know what it should do, you observe what it actually happens and then try to work out which key might be sticking based on these observations. Apart from this, there's nothing obvious that comes to mind. I am using JAWS 9, XP Pro and have tried both Firefox and IE. This problem is not confined to the Internet. Whenever I press two keys such as Alt F4, Alt Tab, Shift Tab, or even Shift and a letter for capitals, JAWS begins to speak and then cuts off. It's almost as if something interrupts it. When on a Website in an edit box, if I want to type in my Email address, as soon as I press Shift ' for the @ sign, the page reloads and I am thrown out of the edit box. Has anyone any ideas what this problem might be? It is very frustrating! Barbara Wilson M: 07917710779 T: 02887784046 E: barkingbabs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx IM: creativeeyes@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Skype: creativeeyes
