As Brian indicated it does not put things in your startup group.  Are you
referring to the start menu?  -ed.

I just installed JSay    version 5.  I understand that it put several 
programs into my startup group, including Microsoft Word, Outlook and
possibly Internet Explorer.  I do not want these in my startup group.  If I
go into the startup group and remove them, will this cause any software
problems for JSay?
