Yep, this reminds me of the crap that the WSUS guys put together saying that "you should have a firewall" in front of the ISA firewall. What a bunch of morons. A - it's a re-publish of a year-old document B - "Note: The Microsoft Perimeter Network Configuration Wizard is not compatible with Microsoft Windows(r) Small Business Server 2003 or Microsoft Small Business Server 2000." C - It *only* works if you install ISA 2004 on a machine with three NICs - not exactly the most common deployment; "The firewall server must have three network interface cards (NICs)." D - The minimum requirements for ISA are incorrect; the doc states that the ISA needs a minimum of 128MB RAM and a 133MHz processor. http://www.microsoft.com/isaserver/evaluation/sysreqs/default.mspx clearly states that the minimum is 256MB RAM and a 533 MHz processor E - it states that the OS should be "Window Server 2003, Standard Edition or Web Edition"; this is patently wrong, since ISA will not even install on Web Edition ..and that's just what I see in a quick 5-minute scan. IOW, this seems to have been written without the merest nod from the ISA team (not the first one of its kind, either).
