Nah... he's probably using the same API that NLB uses when run in
Unicast mode.  NLB "overwrites" the physical MAC address with a virtual
one.

If the tool is just a GUI, then yes, there are other ways to do the
same.  However, if it has a command line equivalent?  That could be
helpful. :)

One of the other things that I've always missed on Windows is the
ability to set the duplex and speed of a NIC from the command line.

What is he talking about changing a registry entry? How does changing a
registry entry change the MAC hard coded onto the NIC? Does the software
include some sort of ROM flasher?
