Hi
just wanted to say thanks
That worked. Using the 5050 port and putting it as a protocol rule
worked.

Thanks

can local clients resolve DNS Names ?
Try A protocol rule instead of a IP Packet filter.

I'm having the hardest time getting Yahoo instant messenger to work
through ISA. I've set up a pachet filter fro port 5050 as per yahoo's
suggestion but the damned thing refuses to work through either socks or
http. Any suggestions ?

BTW i'm not sur ebut this might be related to my not beinag able to
access nntp or mail on the LOCAL isa server.

many thanks in advance

Ricahrd
