The basic description is correct with one critical exception: [1] - bad; very bad. Use the FQDN used by the external client *ONLY* Turn off "friendly error message" in the browser if you want to see more than "<duh>" error messages. Have you examined the ISA web proy logs to see if ISA even saw the request? -----Original Message----- From: maryam salehzadeh [mailto:m.salehzadeh@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, October 20, 2005 5:25 AM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: webmail behind ISA http://www.ISAserver.org Mdaemon webmail is a web based mail & is equipped with a built-in web server so it doesn't require IIS to operate. I published it on isa server 2000 with a web publishing rule as follow: 1.Destination:external IP address of isa server 2.Action:Redirect to internal IP address of mail server 3.Bridging:I didn't make any change 4.Applies to:any request But it doesn't work. I also published a web server as I described above too but it doesn't work either. When I browse the external IP of ISA srver the result is:"The page cannot be displayed." Did I make wrong configurations?I made the configuration as it was described on web publishing help. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jim Harrison" <Jim@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "[ISAserver.org Discussion List]" <isalist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, October 19, 2005 5:49 PM Subject: [isalist] RE: webmail behind ISA > http://www.ISAserver.org > > Read the help about web publishing. > Read the mdaemon docs about how it provides web mail. > > -----Original Message----- > From: maryam salehzadeh [mailto:m.salehzadeh@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx] > Sent: Tuesday, October 18, 2005 11:11 PM > To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] > Subject: [isalist] webmail behind ISA > > http://www.ISAserver.org > > Hi: > I want my webmail(mdaemon webmail)to work behind isa.what should i do?i > should mention that it is not running under IIS.can you please help me? > thanks > ------------------------------------------------------ > List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist > ISA Server Newsletter: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/newsletter.asp > ISA Server FAQ: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ > ------------------------------------------------------ > Visit TechGenix.com for more information about our other sites: > http://www.techgenix.com > ------------------------------------------------------ > You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: > jim@xxxxxxxxxxxx > To unsubscribe visit http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist > Report abuse to listadmin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > > All mail to and from this domain is GFI-scanned. > > > ------------------------------------------------------ > List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist > ISA Server Newsletter: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/newsletter.asp > ISA Server FAQ: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ > ------------------------------------------------------ > Visit TechGenix.com for more information about our other sites: > http://www.techgenix.com > ------------------------------------------------------ > You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: m.salehzadeh@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx > To unsubscribe visit http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist > Report abuse to listadmin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist ISA Server Newsletter: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/newsletter.asp ISA Server FAQ: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Visit TechGenix.com for more information about our other sites: http://www.techgenix.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: jim@xxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe visit http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist Report abuse to listadmin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx All mail to and from this domain is GFI-scanned.
