1. does the java app run at the server or the client? name resolution gets
funny here
2. does the java app use any special protocols / ports of its own? these
would have to be dealt with as well

Hi All,
I'm trying to figure out how to publish an application, and I'm wondering if
anybody can help me, possibly by giving me info on what to look for in the
error logs.
The application uses a Java (web) interface to a SQL server database (on the
same server as the web machine). I can publish other pages on the server no
problem, I've tried publishing TCP 1433 for the SQL server.. what else can I
look at?
