T'were a mistype; I meant 1000 characters.
Just because a web developer can create a jagunda URL doesn't make it
valid.
I can create a web site that gives you a list of your loc drive
contents, too; does that make it "smart web programming?"

You wish :) With your logic I wouldn't be able to make ~50% of my
google/yahoo queries:)
Example:
http://www.google.co.uk/search?as_q=isa2004+service+crashed&num=100&hl=e
n&btnG=Google+Search&as_epq=&as_oq=&as_eq=isa2000+marketing+&lr=&as_ft=i
&as_filetype=&as_qdr=all&as_occt=any&as_dt=i&as_sitesearch=&safe=images

URL==216 Bytes long

And pls don't tell me google developers are too lazy :)

Hm.
Seems like I answered this.
A URL of 100 chars is too long.

Hello,
we have a problem, when we setup a rull with http filtering, then url
with long long, about 1000 characters, dosent respont. but when we turn
off
http filer in this rule, everythink goes perfect fine. We think that the
problem is with the special chars, like "%".

Does enyone has such problem, or resolve this....???
