FOR
Why would you not make the ISA firewall devices domain members?
actually our Dept. is totally isolated to all the other dept.s of our company,
so i am not allowed to make any Trust relationship b/w any of our domains, i
just want to allow only almost 50 emplayees of my dept.(Workgroup) to use ISA
2004 services.

Hi Faraz,

ONLY for workgroup. If the firewall array members are domain members, then NO
certificates required. IT JUST WORKS.

So, when you make the ISA firewall array members part of the domain:

1. You increase the overall security
2. You increase the overall functionality
3. IT JUST WORKS

So, you have the unique combination of enhanced security and enhanced
functionality, PLUS its orders of magnitude easier to configure. Why would you
not make the ISA firewall devices domain members?
