Have a look at http://www.winternals.com/ specifically ERD commander which has the locksmith program it will allow you to reset a forgotten administrator password on NT/2000/XP/Server 2003 . There are other "free" solutions available, they usually entail using some version of a linux boot disk, use these at your own risk.
