Hi There

Assuming you are trying to create some sort win2k prof routing machine.
test to see whether it works and if it does then youve done it. try
pinging either network from the opposing side. You may need static
routes added on some workstations.

What Glenn said was 110% right.

Thanks for that.

So how can I check this works because we have done this and it doesn't
work? Although it does say IP routing enabled. Strange!!!

Is there something I need to do or check?

You will need to edit the system registry under
Hkey_Local_Machine\System\Current_Control_Set\Services\TCPIP\Parameters
You should see IPEnableRouter, modify it and set the value to 1 Of
course the above path is just a pointer, I did not take the time to
enter the exact location

In the registry but just keep following the path I gave you and you will
see it.

Hello,

I know this is not the best place to ask this question, but does anyone
know how to enable IP routing on a windows 2000 professional machine?

Also what is the best windows 2000 discussion website?
Regards

Sachin
