Testing this on another system that's on my internal network. I don't think it's working either even though I don't see how I'm able to see this one site and none of the others. -----Original Message----- From: Jim Harrison [mailto:jim@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, July 07, 2003 9:20 AM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] Re: Web server Publishing not working... http://www.ISAserver.org Here's what you've done wrong: Action: Redirect the request to this internal... IP of ISA server ..it should be: Action: Redirect the request to this internal... IP of WEB server ..I'm actually surprised it works at all. Are you testing this from inside or outside of ISA? My web server is a linux server that I host which is running 3 virtual sites. I've managed to create the rules to allow internet access on my systems and I created the destination sets prior to creating the web publishing rules. I have it configured like so: Destination Set: Name: Website Publishing Rule Destination: www.nubiint.com Web Publishing Rule: Name: WSPR - nubiint Selected Destination Set Name: www.nubiint.com Action: Redirect the request to this internal... IP of ISA server This rule applies to: Any request I have the same settings for my other 2 sites: www.nusolutions.biz & www.newundertakings.com I can open this web page: www.nubiint.com but I can't open the others. What am I doing wrong? Being that this is a linux server behind ISA is there anything special I need to do here? I've confirmed that the server does have internet access so I'm assuming it should be working. I'm also assuming that creating the destination set and web publishing rule is like port forwarding, which is what I was doing with my linksys. Am I missing something here? Any responses are appreciated. ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist ISA Server Newsletter: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/newsletter.asp ISA Server FAQ: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 Exchange Server Resource Site: http://www.msexchange.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: jim@xxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub') ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist ISA Server Newsletter: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/newsletter.asp ISA Server FAQ: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 Exchange Server Resource Site: http://www.msexchange.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: marvc@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub')
