Hi,

This is quite simple.

Instead of running

C:\>telnet mail.x.com 25

Type:

C:\>telnet<enter>
Microsoft Telnet> set LOCAL_ECHO<enter>
Microsoft Telnet> open mail.x.com 25<enter>

It carries on from there, as per my previous mail.

Note however this is using the Windows 2000 telnet client (Microsoft)
the older versions allowed you to select these settings in the dropdown
menus.

Hope this helps.

Regards
  Steven

Thank you for the ISA relay information. I will give it a try. I have
one other quick question. In a telnet session, do you know what command
I would enter so I can see what I am typing? Right now, it's not being
echoed to the screen.

Thanks again for your help.
