I too have encountered the problem so I just created a packet filter to listen on port 3389 on ISA's external nic accepting connections only from allowed IP's and did away with TSWeb. My question is, is it more of an added security risk to use TSWeb since you need to have IIS running? Aside from making it easy for your clients to connect remotely to ISA by just clicking on the link are there added benefits? Thanks in advance. - Joe -----Original Message----- From: Steve Moffat [mailto:steve@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Saturday, September 22, 2001 2:50 AM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: TS Web problem http://www.ISAserver.org Hi Jay I'm afraid I do have the port rule enabled. That being the case, look at your server publising rules, I would bet there is no rule for port 3389 to get into your network. Another way to verify this would be to use the standard TS client to connect. -Jay http://www.ISAserver.org Hi I've installed and configured everything for TS Web access according to Tom's article. Behind ISA it works ok. From outside I can get the login page. When I enter the details and click connect it says that I have connected to the server but then I get a message box up that says "VB Error". Has anyone encountered this or know of a resolution. tia Steve ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: jmobley@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub') ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: steve@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub') ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: jaldeguer@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub')
