Most of what "must be done" is totally dependent on what you need to
accomplish.

I let my ISP do all of my DNS for me on the internet, I have an internal
DNS server that was installed by default with AD. If the Virtual server is
on another machine then do both machines, my Exchange server, and the
server hosting the virtual smtp server need dns settigs from the internet,
and if so do i have to creat a protocal rule to allow dns traffic in and
out? I do not have a forwarder setup on my internal dns server.
