You'll need a default gateway on the MMS so it knows how to leave the subnet.... How exactly are you publishing this server? Personally I've never even seen one in action..... -----Original Message----- From: Greg Lindberg [mailto:greg@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, October 13, 2004 11:25 AM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] Routing problem? http://www.ISAserver.org Hello, I am setting up ISA 2000 Enterprise for the first time and am unable to publish a windows media (or other) server in a lab environment successfully. I believe the ISA rules are set up of correctly--packets are received by the internal MMS server but the response is not sent back out through ISA--so I'm wondering if there is a route statement I'm missing to make this work (or any thing else I should verify). My network setup is: External nic on ISA: 192.168.1.40 with gateway 192.168.1.1 Internal nic on ISA: 10.2.2.1 with no gateway MMS Server: 10.2.2.2 with no gateway. Testing workstation nic: 192.168.1.213 with gateway 192.168.1.1 and testing URL: mms://192.168.1.40/filename.wmv Thanks for any help!
