"multicast traffic from our Internal network to our Public interface" - unless
you can manage and configure IGMP for this traffic (and add RRAS to the ISA) ,
it's a bust.
ISA doesn't "do" multicast.

Okay, I'm not a bright guy here, but I know you guys are. We have ISA 2004
(SP3) and I need to know how to allow multicast traffic from our Internal
network to our Public interface so our users can get IP TV provided by the
University.

I have a rule setup, and setup the ports, but I'm having issues with the
multicasting (I kinda know what that is from using Ghost locally, I'm just not
sure how to allow it from Internal to External). The outgoing ports are TCP:
4904, 4905, and UDP: 4900, 4901, 4902, and that seems to be setup fine as I get
the IP TV On Screen Guide, but it's the multicasting thing I'm hung up on as I
can't watch the programs selected.

Thanks in advance.

We had to open the following ports on the local windows firewall, however
obviously you'd need them open on whatever other firewalls you have between the
PC and host.

NAT/PAT shouldn't be a problem, we're NAT'd here as well and have no problems,
although we did have to adjust some devices to allow multicast traffic through
in general.

TCP: 4904, 4905
UDP: 4900,4901,4902

After these were open, everything worked as it should.

Anyone have firewall configuration issues with the RU-IPTV? We use Microsoft's
ISA server and I can't seem to get all the parameters in line to get it to work.

I can get the Guide, but I get the Reception: no broadcast available. I'm
thinking it is a protocol issue, but it may also be that we NAT/PAT over a
single Public IP...

Any takers? Thanks in advance.
