Is your NAVGW machine have a public or private IP Address? If it is a private
IP address, where SMTP traffic will flow through the ISA server first, this is
what I have configured: Create a server publishing mail wizard rule for SMTP
Inbound. The external address is the ISA address, the internal address is your
NAVGW machine. In this setup our A host record is the external address for our
ISA server.

We are installing NAV for Gateways 2.5 on a 2000 box. we created an A host
with a ptr record and then created a MX record with a higher priority. But it
is still not intercepting and redirecting mail. Can anyone help?

Thanks
