Exactly!

And if the connection has a name like DoD_side1, the user on the dial-out
credentials should be DoD_side1, and so forth =)

Hi Tiago,

Great! But what do you mean by matching names at each end?

One side should dial up

That side should present credentials to the side receiving the connection

The credentials the calling side uses are configured in the SAM of the call
recipient

The name of the account used is the name you assinged to the demand dial
interface on the calling machine

Is that what you mean?

Thanks!
Tom

Just another piece of info for you guys!

        One thing that I discovered:

        Imagine we have this scenario:

ISA --> DSL Router <---> Internet <--> DSL router -> ISA

I created demand-dial interfaces with matching user names at each end.
When one end connects, the end automatically connects to the other ISA server.
But there's more! One of my ends has a Dynamic IP address. It connects with no
secrets! No more Dynamic DNS for me =)

The problem with the automatic disconnection at every 3 minutes is
gone, too!

        Woohoo!!
