The more I read about the firewall client the less I understand, but let me try to explain the problem. We are under a statewide filter so we can be CIPA compliant and we need a way to turn off the filter if an adult requests it so I discovered, by accident, that if the firewall client was enabled that the computer was not filtered. This worked great for us, but now that we have changed routers and got new IP addresses this no longer works, now everything is filtered. Can you explain why and what I need to do to correct this? Thank you! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Quillman Shawn (RBNA/CSA1) *" <Shawn.Quillman@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "[ISAserver.org Discussion List]" <isalist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, July 07, 2004 11:21 AM Subject: [isalist] Re: Problem with new router setup http://www.ISAserver.org You'll need to create rules allowing outgoing traffic on at least ports 80 and 443. Now that I have that fixed there is another problem. If the firewall client is enabled I can't access the Internet, otherwise everything is fine. What gives? With the new router comes a new set of IP addresses and I changed the external IP address and the gateway address and new DNS server addresses on the ISA server. Is there somewhere else in ISA that I need to change something?
