Hi

I had this problem in my company!!! To solve I created the rules in my Isa box and installed the Firewall client in the Exchange Server.

hi,
I have implemented one ISA server to isolate our local network from the
public network. The ISA server is having one public ip in the external
interface and one invalid ip in the internal interface. I framed a protocol
rule for http access its working fine. Likewise ftp, publishing internal
ftpserver and http server are working fine.

The problem is, we have one exchange server (mail server) and we would like
to get the mails from the exchange server to the machines behind the
firewall by configuring exchange client or outlook express. Client machine
is loaded with firewall client software. I framed a rule which will allow
all the ports used by exchange server (smtp, imap, pop3, rpc, ldap and so
on) but its not working giving "logon credentials failed". But if we remove
the rule and place the allow all rule its working fine. I tried all the
ports related to mail server its not working. Any configuration change to be
done in ISA serve or client side? Your valuable suggestions or experience
would be welcome.

Thanks & Regards
