Network Load Balancing

I am trying to implementing NLB on my ISA servers. When both servers
are on i can surf the internet, but when i turn off one of the servers to test
the NLB balance i cannot surf nor can i ping the external ip of the ISA. I was
told that that some configuration needed to be done on the router. My source
was not specific. I have a cisco 2600. Need help
