Yep and it works fine as long as I'm connected using my linksys. Yet if I go
and connect the ISA server to my DSL connect and establish a connection to
the internet, go and change the gateway on my internal DNS/domain controller
to that of the ISA server, and attempt to nslookup an external resource I
get timeout errors.

Have you tried, from the internal DNS server, to do a nslookup using the ISP
DNS server as the resolver for an external site?
