Do you happen to know if it works with the server name, as in
mail.servername.com:3000?

I've got a few clients with DHCP.

A while back Jim announced that we should abandon port 3389 and choose a
different one. It's been haunting me lately. So I should probably get to
it. I use remote desktops from the windows 2003 admin pack. I love being
able to change channels from one client to another. If I abandon 3389
how to I tell the remote desktop tool to use the new port? Or do I need
to start using a different tool and if so, which one?

The correct technical term for haggis stalking is "havering".
