Hi, I'm talking about your production boxes. ISA, IIS, SQL, MAIL. Don't need all that extra crap. I spent a weekend a while back. Stoping services and such to see how far I could go to remove all the extra stuff. I was suprised at how little a production box needed to stay working well. It is best to make sure that you have your own image done. That way you can remove what services that are not needed on a server. Such as DHCP client since a server should have static IP Addresses. And many more types of things. Why does a server need directX 9? I finally got Microsoft involved and it turned out that the problem was not in ISA after all. The server that had the problem was a Dell and the preinstalled Dell Openmanage software appearantly conflicted with an update somewhere along the line and hijacked the HTTP protocol on the server. Since it was a server, we did not notice since it is rare that we would use the server to access the Internet from a desktop login. Thanks again for the help. See if the logs reveal how Mozilla is connecting vs. how IE is trying to connect. You may need to increase the amount of information being logged. It sounds like the server is a web proxy client, so I'd start with the web proxy service log first. Good luck...
