Install SP2.
There were a few instances of this sort of crash and these were solved in SP2.

I know it's the visual C++ runtime library.
I have not installed SP2 on this server.
I have not called PSS yet, I want to try to solve it first, but If I have not
luck I won't have another option.
I think that the problem maybe related to a weird corruption of dll, or version
mistmatch

CompleteAsyncIO is a system call - this is the module that faulted.
Msvcrt.dll is the Visual C++ run-time library.
Have you called PSS?
Are you running SP2?

Hi, I'm having an SBS2003 with ISA2004 that is faulting with this error
The Firewall service stopped because an application filter module
C:\WINDOWS\system32\msvcrt.dll generated an exception code C0000005 in address
77B96F76 when function CompleteAsyncIO was called. To resolve this error,
remove recently installed application filters and restart the service.
I usually see this kind of error with the third-pary web filters, but in this
case it references a system library.
Anyone seen something like this ?
