Do you have any other services (read: IIS) running on that machine? -----Original Message----- From: Andrew English [mailto:andrew@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Sunday, January 30, 2005 2:33 PM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] ISA rebuild issue http://www.ISAserver.org I decided to take my ISA off VMware and run it on it's own box so backed up the ISA (into a .xml file) and did just that. After I made sure everything was setup the way as before I installed ISA 2004 Standard, restarted, and then restored my old settings. Now I am getting error message in the Alert log: The Web Proxy filter failed to bind its socket to 10.10.10.2 port 80. This may have been caused by another service that is already using the same port or by a network adapter that is not functional. To resolve this issue, restart the Microsoft Firewall service. The error code specified in the data area of the event properties indicates the cause of the failure. The failure is due to error: 0x8007271d So I did what it said and the same error appears in the Alert log. Anyone have any idea what else I could check?
