Let's keep it in the list. Sometimes you have to ask more than once. There are far more folks asking than answering, after all. Why do you think the service is failing? You haven't indicated what happens that makes you investigate any services.. What's in the event log? Hello Jim, How are you doing ? I hope that you are very fine... I just would like to ask you a question "regarding starting service"; I already posted this question on ISAserver.org; however, one answered this question. Let me tell you my environment first. I have two ISA servers boxes; I use Microsoft Network Load Balance (no Stonesoft, no Rainfinity, Pure microsoft NLB). OS: windows 2000 Adv server with SP3. ISA enterprise with ISA SP1. IIS was not installed. My webproxy service keeps going down randomly. So I go to control panel/administrative tools/services/microsoft web proxy then Property and on recovery tag. First failure : Restart the Service Second failure : Restart the Service Subsequent failure: Reboot the Computer. Reset fail count after: 0 days Restart service after: 1 minutes. However, every time the webproxy service goes down..... The service does not restart nor reboot the computer; I have to do manually.... What did I do wrongh ? Does It have to do with SP3 ? Thanks Racy
