Vald and John,

90% of our clients are Windows NT 4 (SP6)
10% of our clients are Windows 2000

I have tried the firewall client software at my workstation and it works
fine but if I want to use streaming media like Quicktime and Realmedia (and
also Copernic search program) I need to set the HTTP Redirector filter at
"Send to requested Web server". By setting this option all firewall clients
don't use the webcache !!

I would like to implement the firewall client only to those users who need
those specific protocols/applications. The rest of the organization should
use the web cache to limit the bandwith usage.

If someone knows how to use the firewall client in combination with webcache
and the mentioned applications then I could implement the firewall client at
all the workstations.

Peter.

You could also publish the autodiscovery information. With the WPAD DNS
entry and the auto configuration script. This would achieve the high
availability without the need for WLBS.

Regards,

Vald
