An analogy, ISA is like a Saleen S7 sports car while Sonicwall is like a
Chevy Corvette.

Both are sports cars, both go fast and make lots of impressions, but the
Saleen S7 does it with class, finesse and fine attention to every last
detail.

Sonicwall uses a ½? wide brush to clear the dust in packets looking for
problems. ISA uses a modeler?s 0000 size brush.

With ISA you can securely publish websites, including securing the
connection between the web server and ISA. With Sonicwall it is an allow
rule.

With ISA you can quarantine wireless connections. With Sonicwall it is an
allow rule.

I am sure the Good Doctor and the Honorable Jim among others will be able to
come up with more compelling reasons.

Subject: [isalist] ISA Server 2004 comparison to SonicWall

Hello List,

The Boss is looking to replace our ISA Server 2004 with a SonicWall. Will
someone please give me enough information about this comparison that I can
convince him to keep ISA!

Thank you,
Barbara
