If you have ever had pcAnywhere on the ISA server, this would be the
cause. Only solution is to format and rebuild. Symantec are aware of
this, but there is no fix.

I did see a post once where someone had the same error after installing
diskeeper, tho' I have diskeeper on my ISA server and it does not seem
to have given my ISA install any problems.

Same problem like rlucas@xxxxxxxxxxxx
--------------------------------------
Basically I am having some problem with an element within ISA server,
Under Monitoring - Alerts, I get "ISA ERROR" - "REFRESH FAILED" - "YOU
DO NOT HAVE THE NECESSARY PERMISSIONS TO PERFORM THIS ACTION".
If anyone has an answer to this, I have experienced this on more than
one occasion, installing and configuring a Windows2000 Server with
ISA-Server, all updates applied and service packs, even if I was to
uninstall the ISA, then re-install, I get the same message occur.
Regards,
Eugen........
