Yes, and « client certificate » was therefore enclosing both options, was it
not?

Why type of client???

RANT:

Machines can be clients

Users can be clients

So,

Use intelligent terminology:

User certificate

Machine certificate

For some reason, the words « client certificate » sprouted inside my mind.

But what would be more efficient, perhaps, would be using VPN with client
certificates...

It's not much, but I hope it gives you an insight on what to research.

Objet : [isalist] ISA 2004 and OWA 2003

http://www.ISAserver.org

I have a question about OWA 2003 running on ISA 2004.

Is there some type of software that can be installed on the ISA 2004 server and
on a company "asset" (laptop) that when connecting to OWA 2003 that will
identify the laptop as a company asset? I need to find a very secure way of
publishing OWA to the Internet and our users getting there email over the
Internet.

Any suggestion, ideas or articles would be great.

Thanks,

John
