Have you created an outgoing packet filter for port 80 Steve -----Original Message----- From: Mark Shaw [mailto:kate_mark@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Mon 27/05/2002 12:29 PM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Cc: Subject: [isalist] HTTP 502 Proxy error.... (12202) http://www.ISAserver.org Hi all, I have just performed a basic installation of ISA with SP1 on a multihomed machine within our network. I can configure Packet filters to allow/deny certain ports and this all works fine. - Which would suggest that there is no issue with the routing or the IP configuration. However, for some reason, I cannot get anything using the Web Proxy to work and its starting to get a tad frustrating! - The ISA server has the default Allow rule for all Site and Content access and is using the default port of 8080 for all outgoing web requests, however everytime I attempt to access a site from the IE, using the appropriate Proxy settings I get an ISA error showing the following: ******************************* HTTP Proxy Error - The ISA Server denies the specified Uniform Resource Locator (URL). (12202). Technical Information: Background: The gateway could not retrieve the requested page. ******************************* If anyone can shed any light on this it would be very much appreciated.
